Memorable Moments - a Residential Photography Workshop

Do you have any idea of the complex and wide-ranging facilities your camera – and even your phone camera – has?  Join this workshop and learn some simple but powerful techniques to unlock them. You will be staying in one of the most beautiful places in the Lake District offering inspiring and memorable subject matter.

Improve your photography, moments pass and images are lost in an instant, but there are numerous things you can do to make the most of capturing and enhancing a moment.

Over the workshop, you will learn how to make the most of your photographic moments, in stunning natural settings.  You will be guided by a highly experienced photographer, in how to refine your photography techniques…

September 5th to 8th

Thursday: Arrival from 4pm, with Dinner at 6pm.

Are you ready to capture the beauty of the Lake District through your lens? We’ve got you covered with handy crib sheets highlighting the local photo hotspots just waiting for your creative eye! From the charming streets of Ambleside to the tranquil shores of Rydal Water, there’s so much to explore within walking distance of Rydal Lodge. Take a stroll through picturesque Grasmere, immerse yourself in the serene beauty of River Rothay, or ascend Loughrigg Fell for breathtaking vistas.

Feeling adventurous? Join our enthusiastic guide, Paul Brothers, as he embarks on a day filled with photographic exploration. Trust us, he’ll be out there with his camera, ready to share his passion and expertise with you!

After a day of capturing memories, unwind with us in the evening. It’s time to showcase the stunning images taken by our group! Gather around our large screen as Paul shares his tips and tricks for enhancing your photos using both free and chargeable software. Get ready to be inspired and take your photography skills to the next level!

Workshops on Thursday 7.30pm to 9.30pm, Friday & Saturday 7.00pm to 9.30pm

Sunday: Edit & Review your images from 3 pm – 5pm. Close and review of workshop 5pm – 5.30.  Dinner at 6pm (optional).
